Lincoln - NCRVF 2009 We really enjoyed our stay here (me only saturday and saturaday night!) you guys treated us VERY well! The Dinner was FANTASTIC!! (YUMMY MOUTH DROOLING PORK LOIN!!) I took pics of it… they will be coming!I had a fun time and we will be going *hopefully* to michigan next year!

Lincoln - NCRVF 2009 We have talked about and used Facebook… So far…
- use ‘challenge’ instead of ‘assignment’…
- lighting… use xmas lights instead of flash…
- no more ‘cheese’ please…
- more candid shots…
- Snow… Be prepared for events… don’t wipe fog off of lens…
- Cardboard box… back of chair… ideas for ‘tripods’…

- Use FB to keep kids as part of the group if they miss a bunch of meetings
- You start a chain… You post photo and topic.. The next person posts a photo of your topic and they make up another topic… etc… you get the idea…

Lincoln - NCRVF 2009 We are going on a road trip tomorrow… where you may ask… Lincoln, Nebraska! Why? We are going to present to other 4-H leaders (and members AND staff!) We are presenting on the topic of GIS mapping! I will be tweeting and will post a sum-up of it later tomorrow or tomorrow night RIGHT here!!

Lincoln - NCRVF 2009 We finally made San Diego at rush hour (5ish)! One funny thing when we went to the baggage claim… we were waiting for 1 bag for over 20 minutes, so we went over to see the baggage that was brought to San Diego on a different flight, and there it was! I will be posting photos and videos from our time out here. Our flight here was AMAZING! We flew over the grand canyon (photos to follow). It is amazing to know gis and fly in a jet over the country and see the US from the air (and pictometry like). Thank you SO much South West Airlines for getting us to San Diego safely! I’m planning on writing on this blog every night (and I have a few friends who will also post) Tomorrow we are going to be mapping stuff out for the Fish and Wildlife Service. Video will be up soon (if I can get the touch screen to work). I’ll get pics up tomorrow.
